Newsletter April/May 2016

Shalom, Dear Partner in Yeshua-Jesus,
These days the Jewish People are celebrating one of the greatest feasts – Pesach (Passover).  Happy Passover to you, as we celebrate Yeshua, our Sacrificial Passover Lamb that takes away the sins of the world.
On the 17th of April we had a wonderful trip with Holocaust Survivors to the Sea of Galilee.  We regularly arrange trips to the Sea of Galilee – which has so much rich history and is the cradle of the Gospel of Yeshua.  Recently, we had another busload of 50 Holocaust Survivors traveling to Tiberias.  We prepared a wonderful program for them.  First we visited the Galilee Experience, a theatre that shows a 40-minute film presenting thousands of years of history of the surrounding area, including the many signs and wonders that Yeshua performed there.
We also had a good friend share her testimony.  She is a Messianic Jewish believer in Yeshua and a daughter of a Polish Holocaust Survivor.  We also had a local Messianic Jewish music artist that sang wonderful worship songs for our precious Survivors.  These Survivors were incredibly appreciative, engaged and open to all that the Spirit of the Lord was doing. Praise Adonai!
The next point of our trip was really amazing.  We climbed on board a large boat and sailed across the Sea of Galilee for thirty minutes.  They enjoyed their wonderful surroundings and songs by another local Messianic Music Artist, who led us in songs of praise, so much so, that the Survivors began to rise up and dance in a circle of light.  It was electrifying.
After that we were invited to visit a wonderful Messianic Art Gallery on the hilltops of Tiberias.  The gallery belongs to a family of believers who arranged a harp concert and shared their testimonies.  We all were really excited to listen while enjoying a beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee in front of us.  The Spirit moved powerfully.
The greatest testimony of the day!  Our last five minutes on the bus, before dropping off the Survivors at the last of five stops.  No human could have possibly planned what happened.
One of the survivors named Larisah sat down next to my Russian Jewish translator, Elizabeth.  Elizabeth said to her, you see how much Brian is doing to give you a better quality life and to bring you closer to God in Yeshua?  Larisah said, “I love Yeshua”.  Then Elizabeth said, “Loving Him is not enough. We need to pray and invite Him into our heart.”  Then Larisah said, “But I don’t know how!”  Elizabeth said to her, “Would you like me to show you how?”  She responded, “Yes, please”, and Elizabeth prayed with her right there on the bus to receive Yeshua in her heart, minutes before she got off the bus.
Another divine providence was that if I had not gotten out of my seat those last 10 minutes and moved across from Elizabeth, I’m not sure all this would have happened.  Yeshua is the Master Planner.
Glory to God!  She gave us her contact details and she said “Please come and visit anytime.”  Amazing how this all happened in the last five minutes of the bus ride.  Another miracle!
The below scripture is what was read to the Holocaust Survivors on the Sea of Galilee.  For lack of space, please read this verse in full.  Mark 4:35-41
“Quiet! Be still!”  The wind subsided, and there was a dead calm.  He said to them “Why are you afraid? Have you no trust even now?” But they were terrified and asked each other, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the waves obey Him?”
As we end, we cannot emphasize enough how important your prayers and support is.  The time is at hand and what a better time than this to be living in the Promised Land and to see Yeshua go after even one lost sheep.  Now that is what I call real delivery from bondage and slavery. Amen!

My friends, with Gods help and you standing with us, there is a lot more fruit to come.
Lots of appreciation and prayers from, Brian and The Abundant Bread of Salvation Team

Brian and the Abundant Bread of Salvation.

Brian and the Abundant Bread of Salvation Team, would like to take this special opportunity to wish you an awesome Passover, as we celebrate Yeshua-Jesus, the Lamb of God. May it be a blessed and festive time for you and your families. Passover is known as the Festival of Redemption, because it commemorates the children of Israel’s freedom from slavery in Egypt some 3,500 years ago. We know the story in Exodus well: God chooses Moses and sends him to tell Pharaoh to “let My people go.” Pharaoh refuses and Egypt is visited with ten different plagues that practically destroy the nation. The last plague is the death of the firstborn male of every family. The Lord uses this plague to teach the children of Israel the principal of redemption through a substitute. He instructs them to choose a young male lamb or goat on the tenth day of the month of Nisan and observe their lambs for three days to ensure they are without blemish. Then, on the fourteenth day of the month they were to slay the lamb and place the blood on the doorposts and lintels of their houses. That evening, when God saw the blood, the plague would pass over those dwellings and would not strike that home. On the night of that first Passover, all the firstborn in Egypt were under the sentence of death. However, if the Israelites followed God’s instructions, the lambs became their substitutes. God said “When I see the blood, I will pass over you” (Exod. 12:13). He also instructed them to roast the meat of the lamb in fire and to eat it along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. The Passover Seder meal enjoyed by Jews today takes those original elements, and a number of others, transforming the meal from a somber time of dread into a joyous celebration of that great deliverance. A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH Passover became one of three major feasts during which the men of Israel were to make pilgrimage to Jerusalem for its celebration. There they would present their lamb to the priests in the Temple on the 10th of Nisan for inspection and approval. The lamb was then taken home and observed for the next three days to be sure it was perfect, without defect. Yeshua-Jesus went to Jerusalem for Passover, as did thousands of others, even though He knew what awaited Him there. His triumphal entry to Jerusalem, followed by His appearance in the Temple, may have, quite prophetically, been on that day of inspection of the Passover lambs. John the Baptist, a Levite, had already declared Yeshua to be the Lamb of God at His baptism when he said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). The Apostle Paul later wrote that we are redeemed by “the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (I Peter 1:19), and in I Corinthians he said “Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us” (I Cor. 5:7-8).

A SACRIFICIAL LAMB When the 14th day of Nisan arrived, it was time to observe Passover, so Yeshua instructed the disciples how to find the place where they would eat the Passover meal together. They were told to go into the city and find a man carrying a pitcher of water and follow him to his master’s house where there would be a large upper room for them to use. They were to prepare the Passover meal there. Scripture does not tell us what was involved in the preparation of the Passover meal and assumes we know that in addition to preparing the unleavened bread, wine, and bitter herbs, there was the task of killing a sacrificial lamb at the Temple (Mark 14:12). On that day, the Temple would have been filled with worshippers, each bringing their family’s lamb. At the threefold blast of the priests’ trumpets, the lambs were slain and their blood spilled into a golden bowl and passed up to the great altar. While this was being carried out, the Levites chanted the “Hallel” which is Psalm 113-118. The Hallel ended with the crowd of worshippers proclaiming the last two verses aloud, Psalm 118:25-26. “Hosanna,” or “Save now,” was what the throngs had also cried out earlier when the Lamb of God, who would be slain for the sins of the world, had passed by them on His way to the Temple. [“Hosanna”] Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! (Psalm 118:25-26) A SUBMISSIVE LAMB The prophet Isaiah had prophesied that the Messiah would be like a lamb: submissive even while being led to the slaughter (Isaiah 53:7). Yeshua-Jesus did suffer silently before the religious and civil authorities and gave no defense for Himself as they interrogated Him (Matt. 27:12-14). Yeshua-Jesus fulfilled all of the requirements of the perfect Passover Lamb of God. No wonder the Apostle John saw in his vision of heaven the angels crying out: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Rev. 5:12). This is the most precious picture I took today.
The bottom hand is a Dutch Christian Volunteer serving with us, and the hand on top is a Jewish War Veteran. Taken at our Shuk Distribution Center.
Our Dutch man was able to encourage and bless this Veteran in Yeshua's name, by the simple fact that he has only 4 fingers. He had never had such a firm hand shake which just brought a huge smile to his face as he left with a huge bag of food products and toilet paper.
PLEASE come bring your hearts and hands to volunteer. Disabled are welcome, even encouraged, as we are called to:
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's handiwork, created in Messiah Yeshua to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Royalty Gathering for Holocaust Survivors

ROYALTY!  What does it mean to honor or love your neighbor?  Mark 12:31
We at Abundant Bread of Salvation live and breath to do just this and thus glorifying Avinu Sh'B'Shamayiim-(our Father in Heaven).
The attached pictures are just a peek at yesterday's Royal gathering and Royalty meal for 10 precious Holocaust Survivors and 25 local and international Messianic Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua.

It all started at our Food Distribution Center were we practically serve over 350 poor and needy people every month. Many people also ask us to pray for them and a separate HIGHLIGHT from earlier this week is that TWO Russian Jewish women came to faith, excepting Yeshua as their Messiah and Savior. Hallelujah!

One group of believers represented at the Royalty gathering was from Romania and the other group were from Hong Kong. My friends the Holy Spirit was so present, you could cut it with a knife.

As I lead this meeting, I gave opportunity for the leader of the local Holocaust and Ghetto Camp Survivors organization to intro himself, his testimony and his people, which was incredibly moving, even to tears for many of the young people present. Several of the other survivors also shared inside personal stories of there terrifying experiences also thanking God for the miracle of saving their lives, but not so for many of their family members and friends.

I also gave opportunity for the young people to present a special worship dance showing their love and support for Israel, the Jewish People and the Messiah Yeshua.

I then surprisingly asked the leaders of the Romanian and Hong Kong group to share their hearts for our Jewish People and the Jewish Messiah, which was flowed with Living Waters for, These Dry Bones.

We then all stood together, while I quoted the scripture from Ezekiel 37:1-7. Breath New Life into these dry bones.

Closing in prayer, we then packed up into cars with the Survivors bringing them for an elegant Royalty Meal at the local Chinese Restaraunt for some great continued interaction and love. We packed the whole restaraunt with 35 people and the owner allowed us to have our special Messianic Music artist from the Galilee, Carolyn Hyde to play some joyful worship music filling the atmosphere.

I could write so much more, but I will end with giving glory to God and asking you to please pray and support as your able, so we can do many more gatherings like this.

Holocaust Survivor Visit at Psychiatric Hospital

A NEW DOOR HAS OPENED, to visit Holocaust Survivors in a local Psychiatric Hospital. There is a special unit specifically for those who have gone through the death camps and survived. Many survivors have been so severely damaged by what they went through in the Ghetto Camps that they spend every day of their life experiencing the horror and nightmares they went through during the war.

We were able to bring in the LIGHT and LOVE, of Yeshua.

We passed out full bowls of strawberries to each resident and had personal interaction going into the darkest places.

These dear ones smiled as we showed HIS love. We even encouraged and interacted with the nursing and medical staff who also need a touch from on high.
There also was a sweet medical clown that was there to entertain whom we also encouraged her with what she was doing to try and bring some joy to these hurting ones.

Please pray and if there is a way you can send special support that we can bring more practical aid or even Messianic musicians to come and fill this place with His healing love and spirit.

If you want to send directly to us in Israel please email me at, for further info.

Meeting with Holocaust Survivors

Holocaust Survivors were totally blessed by a Spirit filled meeting with Believers in Yeshua from Hong Kong, China and Singapore in Netanya today. The Survivors shared there heroic stories of how they survivors the Ghetto camps and a couple amazing stories were shared by a young Chinese women and her path to finding the God of Israel in Yeshua as well as another women from Hong Kong that was SO prompted in the Spirit to share how the Lord saved her out a life of death and destruction by the grace of Yeshua.

This Spirit filled group from Asia came with many blessings such as singing Messianic songs in Hebrew and Shalom Alechem as well as 7 members had long horn shofars and did a special prophetic act of blowing them from the North, South, East and West inviting His Spirit to indwell His Jewish People.

Then they took our hand-made scarves, special necklaces as well as a Tree of Life that was adorned around the most eldest survivor which moved her to tears.
I think they all must have hugged and kissed each other at least 2-3 times and shared their love one for another.

The Love of Yeshua was surely present and acknowledged by the survivors how there was a special LIGHT shining through each of their faces.
Glory to God in The Highest!

Please continue to pray for these meetings as something amazing happens each time.

Happy Sukkot/Tabernacles!

Phil Klein and Rabbi Kevin Soloman

Just met with Messianic Jewish Musician Phil Klein in Tel-Aviv and Rabbi Kevin Soloman from Beit Hallel, Georgia.

Great people with a HUGE passion for Israel, our People and the work we do with the poor and needy in Israel.

Jews are Returning

Just got the report from Israeli news, that in spite of the rise of violence, there was 65 AMERICAN Jews that immigrated to Israel.

Messianic Jews and all Jews alike, what are you waiting for?

Israel needs you!

SALVATION, belongs unto our G-d!

Where TWO or more are gathered in His Name, He is there.

Well, He definitely was there as recently in our outreach center in Netanya two of our Jewish ladies received Yeshua as their Messiah and were joyful to receive Eternal Life.
It was amazing how it all happened as these two ladies came just like any other day to receive their food bags and THEY asked us to pray for them separately. Well, myself along with a couple volunteers, prayed for all their practical needs and then asked about their spiritual condition which led to them wanting eternal life! Hallelujah!

My friends, thank you for your prayers, as they are moving mountains. This all happened within 30 minutes of each other, out of the over 70 people we served that day.

The Ethiopian woman was not even supposed to be there at that time, however G-D's timing is perfect.  The Russian Jewish woman has been coming for years, but today was the happiest day of her life.

We are praising our Messiah Yeshua for giving us this opportunity to REALLY, bless our people in Word and in Deeds.

The Joy that flowed made some others standing around jealous, so a prayer circle was formed and we prayed for the other Jewish Ethiopians.
May the JOY of the Lord be our strength.

Please pray for these precious ones and continued protection over our team and outreach center.

Blessing Israeli Believers (Partnering with Abundant Bread of Salvation)

August, 2015
Dear friends in Yeshua,
We have great news! May we even call it a Break Through? We are asking for prayer for Racheli’s upcoming hip replacement surgery. It will be on August 16th and her recovery and rehabilitation process will be away from home for the next couple months. We thank the Lord Yeshua for His goodness, that He has given us YOU, to prayer for His perfect will and testimony in all of this. Thank you!
And now for some more great news! After much prayer, we were finally able to open our Israeli Non-Profit bank account. Praise The Lord. It's another step in establishing the Ministry of Abundant Bread of Salvation. Thank you for your prayers! Please continue to pray, as we are always needing to overcome physical and spiritual battles.
We are very fond of groups of young Believers in Yeshua, visiting us to hear the stories of Holocaust survivors. We see these visits as a mission in themselves because we think it is important that future generations know what happened in the Holocaust. This month we had two different young groups visit. One was a group led by a Messianic Rabbi, consisting of young Jewish Believers in Yeshua, who are considering immigrating to Israel (Aliyah). The second group was a Christian youth group from Maine. Both teams had a great time with the Holocaust survivors, hearing their stories, asking questions and then sharing a Royal Meal with them at an elegant restaurant.
The youth group who came from Maine with their leader Esther, helped us to do something we had wanted to do for a long time but did not have enough manpower to do it at the right time. We arranged our 40 foot humanitarian-aid container and helped to deliver our goods to the soup kitchen and distribution center. It is amazing to see how much energy and joy this group of young youth have when they do things for God's glory.
Now we want to be a blessing to our local Messianic Jewish Ethiopian congregation in Netanya. We are currently examining the prices of the products specifically needed by this amazingly rich culture. Please pray for us that we will be able to find all the products at the best price and that the Lord will provide over and above the funds to purchase food products for these precious ones, as well as the hundreds of others that monthly come to us for assistance.

Please continue to pray for all the people who come to us and ask for prayer. Every time we serve, we see more openness toYeshua-Jesus. It is these simple acts of kindness that can bring eternal results, as it says in the book of Acts 20:35, “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of our Lord Yeshua, how he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.‘’
May we continue to experience the grace, love and life changing power of God.

One in Messiah Yeshua

Happy Passover and Interesting Facts

A Happy Passover From an Arab Israeli Friend in Yeshua.

I am overjoyed of a dear Arab friend that called me to wish me a Hag Pessach Sameach-Happy Passover.  One in Messiah Yeshua. Doesn't get much better than that her in the Middle East.  Read below about some very interesting facts you may not have known about Israel.

Over 278,000 in East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights (2012)
20.7% of Israeli population[1][2]
Regions with significant populations
Palestinian Arabic (native) and Hebrew (in Israel)
Islam 83.8% (mostly Sunni), Christianity 8.4% and Druze 8.2%[1]
Map of Arab population, 2000
Arab citizens of Israel[3] is the Israeli government's designation for non-Jewish Israeli citizens, the majority of whose cultural and linguistic heritage or ethnic identity is Arab or Palestinian and commonly self-designate as Palestinian citizens of Israel.[4] The traditional vernacular of most Arab citizens, irrespective of religion, is the Palestinian dialect of Arabic. Most Arab citizens of Israel are functionally bilingual, their second language being Modern Hebrew. By religious affiliation, most are Muslim, particularly of the Sunni branch of Islam. There is a significant Arab Christian minority from various denominations as well as Druze, among other religious communities. Israeli Mizrahi Jews are not usually considered to form part of this population.
According to Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics, the Arab population in 2013 was estimated at 1,658,000, representing 20.7% of the country's population.[2] The majority of these identify themselves as Arab or Palestinian by nationality and Israeli by citizenship.[5][6][7] Many have family ties to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as to Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Negev Bedouins and Druze tend to identify more as Israelis than other Arab citizens of Israel.[8][9][10][11]

Most of the Arabs living in East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, occupied by Israel in the Six-Day War of 1967 and later annexed, were offered Israeli citizenship, but most have refused, not wanting to recognize Israel's claim to sovereignty. They became permanent residents instead.[12] They have the right to apply for citizenship, are entitled to municipal services, and have municipal voting rights.[13]
One Amazing Israeli Messianic Artist that we love. Baht Rivka Whitten has performed at our soup kitchen in Netanya and she has a rock solid heart for our Passover Lamb Yeshua.

Enjoy this video clip of hers and feel the Ruach Elohim Blow. The Spirit of The Living God. Close your eyes and meditate on our precious Messiah who with his disciples, he said "this is my body, break it, take and eat in remembrance of ME".

Holocaust Survivor Clip

Delivered TWICE. Amazing short clip of Survivors that "tried", to celebrate The Passover Seder in the Ghetto camps.
