Newsletter October 2016

With the weak, I became weak, in order to win the weak.  With all kinds of people I have become all kinds of things, so that in all kinds of circumstances I might save at least some of them.

Greetings from Abundant Bread of Salvation!
We have much to be thankful for as we press forward.  The enemy is always trying to throw new roadblocks in order for us not to be a blessing and an Eternal Light to our Jewish people.  Our team must daily put on the full armor of God and then we literally walk out the scripture verse in Matthew 6:33 which says, "Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well."  This is not easy as it is a sacrificial labor of His love and grace.  We could not do this work without your prayers.  THANK YOU!
Prayer Changes Things!
Redemptive News:
Gathering of Survivors from the Ghetto One of the many things that we do is gather both local and foreign believers together with Holocaust survivors and have them share their testimonies of how they actually survived the horrendous ghetto death camps. Recently, we had such a meeting with about nine survivors and fifteen believers and lives were changed forever as the Ruach (The Spirit) moved powerfully.  Many tears were shed as the next generation of German believers asked for forgiveness.  The Germans also shared their testimony of how they came to know and love the Messiah of Israel and their love and support of the Jewish people.  We love putting these gatherings together as new dynamics happen each time and wonderful seeds are planted, watered and even harvested.

A Light to our Arab Israeli Neighbors Recently, we assisted a poor and needy Arab family of seven. They moved into a house with no furniture as their previous house had a roof and a floor that had caved in.  At their dire request, Abundant Bread of Salvation was able to provide for them 5 beds, several blankets as well as a big box of kitchen utensils with pots and pans.  They were extremely moved that they cooked a large traditional Arabic feast at their home for our team.  It was delightful and we were able to pray for their family as well as their many other needs.  We were able to also speak to them about the love of God in Yeshua.  Halleluyah!

Visitation in the Hospital
A Blessing to the Local Orphanages We have had some incredible open doors and more favor with the orphanage.  For quite some time we have discussed with the Orthodox Jewish manager about the possibility of volunteering, if it would help them.  This last month allowed us such an opportunity to do just that.  Halleluyah!  We were able to assist in the kitchen preparing lunch and dinner for the 80+ orphaned girls.  If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at   Also, for the new school year that just started we were able to purchase school supplies as well as shoes for all the girls.  A group from America gave us some wonderful toys that we were also able to give them for the Jewish New Year holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
Please help give hope to these poor orphans, give your biggest gift NOW.

My friends, we at Abundant Bread of Salvation cannot express our love and appreciation enough for your financial support as well as your continual prayers. It is literally affecting over 600700 people monthly in the most practical and spiritual ways.
We end with this promise: Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Amen!

Always in Him for the People of Israel,

Newsletter August 2016

Shalom, Dear Partner of Abundant Bread of Salvation,

It is always a pleasure to update you on the Good News of what is happening with our humanitarian work, which is physically affecting the lives and souls of hundreds of people every month.  One thing we want to also update you on in this report is the constant barrage of challenges and spiritual warfare that happens behind the scenes.  The work we do is not your typical pony ride, as a matter of fact, as I write this, there are two specific scriptures that the Lord brings to mind:  James 1:2,  “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”  Also, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”  Maybe these words also speak to your situations as well?  Please let us know how our team can pray for you?

Recently, we had the most unexpected guests come to our Food Bag Distribution Center to volunteer with us.  It was a group of intercessors and pastors from Kenya. They were so encouraging and practically supportive to the poor and needy people that we serve!  We had an opportunity to pray for healing over many and they even witnessed one accept their Messiah!  Halleluyah!  Believe me, these servants from Kenya really know what poverty is.  Out of all the people in the world and out of their own poverty, they support our charity!  What an amazing example of faith for all of us!  An Interesting fact; recently, Israel strengthened its relationship with Kenya.
A sight for sore eyes:  another wonderful partnership that happened with Abundant Bread of Salvation this last month was with a great organization called Jewish Voice Ministries International (JVMI).  We did an Optical Clinic together which included free eye exams as well as giving away almost 100 new, high-quality reading glasses, all at our central headquarter’s distribution center.  This outreach involved four trained opticians and assistants who helped to distribute personal care, love and refreshments.  Thank you, JVMI, for blessing our local Jewish Holocaust survivors, veterans, single mothers and widows.
Have any of you ever met an orphan?  We always find it amazing how important the least of these little ones are in the eyes of God.  It is so important that the Lord Himself included the below scripture verse in James 1:27,  “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:  to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”  We are happy to say that this is exactly what we at Abundant Bread of Salvation have been able to do in the most amazingly creative way during this scorching hot summer.  We organized two buses filled with at least 80 orphan girls and counselors and took them on an all-day trip to a local artificial snow ski resort at a Biblical sight called, “Mount Gilboa” in the Jezreel Valley.  This day also included breakfast, a time of playing on jumpies in the Galilee as well as a glorious boat ride complete with lunch and ice cream for all the kids.
Must we say any more except THANK YOU for your continued prayers and sacrificial support!  You all are making an eternal impact for these precious ones.
Please continue walking with us in the purest form of true religion, putting your faith into action.  Please continue praying for our family as well.
